Description
Justification & Approval Statement of Work Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), Port Hueneme, California intends to issue a cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) No. N6339417G0001 on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Corporation, 199 Borton Landing Rd, Moorestown, NJ 08057-3054. This order will provide all necessary labor to open, inspect, test, upgrade and remanufacture FCS MK 92 items as specified in the attached statement of work. The anticipated order is intended to be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as indicated in the attached class justification and approval. Full and open competition need not be provided for when the supplies or services required are available from only one responsible source or only from a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals to Michael Thompson, NSWC 4346 Missile way, Bldg. 1215, Port Hueneme, CA 93043, or via e-mail to michael.d.thompson4@navy.mil. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing BOA) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
