- The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), MD 21005, intends to award a firm fixed priced purchase order for a Kistler Pressure/Velocity/Position Scoring system to meet a requirement to test small arms weapon systems for mission critical Army equipment. This system addresses technology gaps (subsonic scoring), efficiency requirements, and integration directives fostered by Army customers and Army Test and Evaluation Command Headquarters. Award will be made to Kistler Instrument Corporation; 75 John Glenn Dr, Amherst, NY 14228-2171; Cage Code 58679, under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition, FAR 6.302-1: Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements [10 USC 2304(c)(1) or 41 USC 253(c)(1)]. The Government is seeking information from vendors related to their capabilities under NAICS 334515 as it relates to providing a compatible component to integrate with existing infrastructure. This is not a request for proposals or quotations; no Statement of Work will be provided. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to proceed with this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether the procurement method is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement, no later than 11:00am EST on 24 May 2018. All information submitted must be in writing, should support the offeror's capability to meet the requirement and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses may be submitted via email if the total file size is less than 5MB. Otherwise, responses must be submitted to US Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG)- CCAP-SCD, 6515 Integrity Court, Building 4310, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005.
