This is accomplished, in part, by keeping a 20-foot wide strip (vista), 10 feet in each country, clear of trees, brush and other obstructions and the boundary monuments in good repair. This is a vista-cutting project located along a rugged, remote segment of the Alaska/British Columbia boundary. A majority of the project abuts Tongass National Forest and Stikine-LeConte Wilderness in Alaska. This project is extremely difficult to access and will require helicopter support.
