- The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Huachuca Division intends to issue a sole source award to Booz Allen Hamilton, 8283 Greensboro Dr., Mclean, VA 22102-3830, to provide non-personal services for defensive cyberspace operations divisions (DCOD) and Intelligence Support to cyberspace operations for U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) for the following Regional Cyber Command (RCC) DCOD locations: ARCYBER headquarters, CONUS, Europe, Korea, and Pacific, to allow for continued performance through the source selection process for competitive contracts. The resultant award will contain a period of performance from 3 September 2018 through 2 January 2019, with an option to extend for two months by each DCOD location. The Northern American Classification System (NAICS) code is 517311, with a size standard of 1,500. Most of the follow-on effort acquisition approaches, are combining Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Operations and DCOD support services at each RCC location into one contract. This notice of intent is being processed in accordance with FAR 6.302-2 unusual and compelling urgency. The Government has immediate need for continuity of services and delay in award of a contract will result in serious injury, financial or other, to the Government. A justification for sole source will be prepared in support of this acquisition and will be posted no later than 30 days after contract award. Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground, Huachuca Division intends to procure the requested service to fulfill the mission and need of ARCYBER. Background: The current contract is the Army's single focal point for cyberspace and information operations for the following RCC DCOD locations: ARCYBER headquarters, CONUS, Europe, Korea, Pacific, and Southwest Asia (SWA). ARCYBER includes the 1st Information Operations Command (1st IO) and US Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). ARCYBER's mission is to plan, coordinate, integrate, synchronize, direct, and conduct network operations, and defend all Army networks.
