- Description
- Amendment 0003 The project consists of the opening of the sluice gate, removal and replacement of the existing stem, approximately 80 feet in length, connected to the gate; stem guides to be installed on the structure to support it; and a rising-stem pedestal operator, which includes a portable electric operator, to be installed in the top of the intake tower. Contractors are required to work in the wet as the gate will be removed and replaced in the wet. The Total Estimated Period of Performance is 128 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This procurement is unrestricted. All responsible offerors are encouraged to participate. The NAICS Code 237990, size standard $36.5 million. The request for proposal will be issued on or about 13 April 2018 and proposals will be due on or about 16 May 2018. The award of the contract will be made based on the best value lowest price technically acceptable process. The technical factors will be listed within Section 00100A of the solicitation. The request for proposal will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (Fed Biz Opps) at https://www.fbo.gov.
