- Page 1 of 1 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a construction project Project 610-18-205 Replace Roof Bldg 185: It is the intention of VA Northern Indiana Health Care System to solicit bids for the following: Demolition, removal and disposal of existing roofing system. Asbestos abatement for all roof drains. Replacement of all roof drains. Installation of a new.060mm White (KEE) Ketone Ethylene Ester- Fleece backed roofing system fully adhered by low rising foam with a minimum R-30 insulation value. Inclusion of all items necessary to bring the roof area up to current OSHA requirements pertaining to personnel safety. All mechanical work necessary to disconnect and reconnect existing rooftop HVAC equipment and other equipment attached to roof to facilitate roof work. Tuck-pointing and modifications of brick on exterior walls around perimeter of roof. All items being removed are to be disposed of by the contractor. All above work to be done in accordance with contract drawings and specifications. This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. with a standard size of $36.5M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA will issue a IFB on or about 27 May 2018 via FEDBIZOPPS.gov. A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, and the date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation.
