- Description
- Q1. Is the purpose of the RFI to standardize workflows, vendors and all pharmacy processes across the DOD? (i.e. all MTF's would have the same vendor for automated dispensing machines? All MTF's would follow the same dispensing process and have the same automation for will call, queuing process? A1. This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to gather responses from industry on the availability of a single workflow software package that has the ability to interface with multiple robotic systems, workstations and counting technologies within the DoD MTF pharmacies worldwide. Q2. Since MHS Genesis is the solution for the DOD and has all the required capabilities, is the RFI proposing to replace MHS Genesis pharmacy solution? A2. POWS-E is not replacing capabilities that exist within MHS GENESIS, however, the intent is that any POWS-E solution would have the ability to interface with MHS GENESIS.
