- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation THIS IS A Pre-solicitation notice. SCOPE OF WORK: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum desires to procure closed compact container recycle and waste hauling and year round roll-off dumpster services Fort Drum, NY under a single award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a small business set-aside basis. Some of the duties include: Perform closed compact container recycle and waste hauling and year round roll-off dumpster services on Fort Drum, NY. All types of recyclable material shall be transported to a Material Recovery Facilities (MRF). The MRF selected must recycle 100% of the recyclable materials that they receive. All types of non-hazardous municipal waste, construction debris, recyclable and non-recyclable material shall be transported to state authorized landfills, transfer stations and/or recycling facilities. The Government shall have authorized use of the Contractor's landfill account for tipping fees when the Fort Drum Transfer Facility is out of service and the Government front-load compactor garbage trucks transport waste directly to the landfill. If Government owned garbage trucks are out of service, the Contractor shall empty the Government owned dumpsters within 24 hours of notification. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP). The U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals in response to this notice. The U.S. Government intends to issue an oral request for quote. Interested parties shall email Michelle Shoshone at michelle.l.shoshone.civ@mail.mil in order to participate in the oral request for quote. The final day for submission of quotes will be May 11, 2018 at 1200PM eastern standard time The NAICS code(s) for this requirement is 562111- Solid Waste Collection with a size standard of $38.5M.
