Description
Notice Type: 0011005905 Sources Sought Synopsis: The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811213 with a corresponding size standard of 10 million. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources to provide a Dictation Transcription System that allows medical professionals the ability to call a toll free telephone number from landline telephones and mobile telephones, e.g. cell phones, Smart phones, etc. and input voice dictation. The dictation software product allows for other voice dictation methods, e.g. Personal Computer (PC) dictation. The dictation software product must include Back End Speech Recognition (BESR) with commercial and military health system Return on Investment (ROI) data showing increased transcription efficiency and decreased transcription turn-around times. Dictation and Transcription system shall include Software and Hardware Equipment, Licenses, Training and Remote Maintenance to support Brooke Army Medical center (BAMC). The Period of Performance (POP) will not exceed 3 years and will consist of (1) base period and two option periods. Contractors responding to this sources sought notice are advised their response does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse any company or individual for any expense associated with preparation or participation in this research. Contractor responses should include: 1.Dictation the Transcription system must have successfully passed the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) at a US Air Force Health Readiness Platform and meet both the Army Medical Department's (AMEDD's) and local security requirements. 2. The size of your business with regard to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811213 per the standard described in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.102 (FAR available at http://farsite.hill.af.mil). 3. If you believe this study should be performed under a different NAICS code, please recommend an alternate NAICS code and the rationale for the alternative code. 4.
