Description

SYNOPSIS: The Greater Los Angeles VAMC Healthcare System, 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90073, has a requirement to improve steam distribution system, Building 256. A Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract award is anticipated. The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, materials, parts, tools, supervision, and construction services necessary in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations / standards to execute improve steam distribution system per contract drawings and specifications. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 USD. The Period of Performance for this project will be 275 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the Veterans First Public Law 109-461 as a 100% certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5 Million. Interested bidders must be listed in the VetBiz.gov Vendor Information Pages at www.vetbiz.gov, and currently registered in the System for Award Management, www.sam.gov. Solicitation documents, including contract drawings and specifications, will be available electronically on or about Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested bidders should search for solicitation 36C25818B0243 to access solicitation documents and any amendments. A thirty (30) day bid acceptance period will be required. Bid Bond will be required. Only hardcopy of bids will be accepted. A Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held; date, time, and location to be provided with the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to cancel this Solicitation, either before or after the closing date.
