- N00164-18-R-WP45 - Manufacture of reusable shipboard containers for the following AEGIS Microwave tubes: 10kW traveling Wave Tube (TWT), Continuous Wave Illuminator (CWI), Crossed Field Amplifier (CFA), Switch Tube (SWT), & Simplified Driver (SDR) Traveling Wave Tube Containers - PSC 8145- NAICS 326150 Anticipated RFP issue date 09 May 2018 - Anticipated closing 11 June 2018 - 4:00 p.m. local time. This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for the manufacture of reusable shipboard containers for the following AEGIS Microwave Tubes: 10kW traveling wave tube (TWT), Continuous Wave Illuminator (CWI), Crossed Field Amplifier (CFA), Switch Tube (SWT), and Simplified Driver (SDR) Traveling Wave Tube Containers. This procurement may require first article testing. The anticipated contract will be for a minimum quantity of 1 with an estimated maximum value of $2.5 million dollars. The solicitation will utilize full and open competition procedures after exclusion of sources, set-aside for small business concerns in accordance with (IAW) FAR 6.203 as a proposed 5-year Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the government after initial technical acceptability determinations. The basis of evaluation will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) and factors to be evaluated will be price, technical acceptability, and past performance. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 09 May 2018. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. FedBizOps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered. This is not a Request for Proposal. The solicitation closing date will be on or about 11 June 2018. When the solicitation is available, all responsible parties may submit a proposal for this procurement which will be considered by the Government. All changes that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to the FedBizOpps website. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and / or award.
