Description
This is a pre-solicitation announcement notifying vendors/firms that the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) anticipates release of a formal firm-fixed price Request for Proposal (RFP) for the 5th Floor Water Mission Area (WMA) Conference Area Renovation for services to be performed at the USGS in Reston, VA. This procurement is a 100% HUBZone Set-aside. In accordance with the statement of work, specifications, terms and conditions and drawings that will be posted under the formal solicitation, the contractor all labor, materials, equipment and all other items necessary for the completion of the work as defined by the Contract Documents, at the USGS in Reston, VA. Construction disciplines required to complete the work shall include, but are not limited to, General Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Asbestos Abatement and Audio Visual. The estimated period of performance is 9 months from date of award. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Solicitation 140G0118R0025 will be issued in late May or June 2018 (release timeframe is subject to change). All information for this solicitation will be posted on www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net. Hardcopies will not be available. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 ¿ Commercial and Industrial Building Construction and the size standard is $36.5M. All interested HUBZone firms must have a registered DUNS number and have an active registration in SAM.gov. A site visit will be scheduled prior to proposal submission and details on the site visit will be defined in the formal solicitation once posed to www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net. Other details pertaining to this requirement (i.e. SOW/Specifications, drawings and terms and conditions) will also be provided within the formal solicitation documents posted at a later date.
