- Limited Source Justification The Department of Commerce/National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration/National Environmental Satellite Data and Information Service (DOC/NOAA/NESDIS), intends to award a Purchase Order pursuant to Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR Part 13. The requirement is to consolidate NESDIS Active Directories for moderate mission systems into a NESDIS forest and red forest as part of the Enterprise Security Remediation and Advancement (ESRA) program. In order to meet the project milestones in a timely manner and migrate Active Directory objects from an operational mission system, with minimal impact to the operating environment, NESDIS must procure a software tool to aid in the migration process. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6., as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and it being conducted pursuant to Acquisition Circular 2005-97 effective January 24, 2018 Part Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is 1333LD18QNEEA0010. The acquisition is being sought as a Small Business set aside for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541519 - Size Standard $27.5M employees. This procurement is for licenses for Active Directory migration software tool, which will be used to aid in migration to the new NESDIS Mission Enterprise Secure Active Directory Environment (ESAE) and Active Directory forest. NOAA and NESDIS have mandated the consolidation of Active Directories into the secure forest supplied by the NOAA OCIO Cybersecurity Division as part of the ESRA program. This mandate then was changed due to OCIO assume the risk into their environment. In support of this mandate, NESDIS is deploying a new NESDIS forest and red forest for moderate mission systems. Active Director Pro 500 Licenses and Advanced Support Plan: 12 month (1001-5000) Quantify of 2 Users This purchase requisition is required by 6/04/2018 to prevent a lapse in support coverage of existing licenses. This is brand name acquisition for a Binary Tree product, and Advanced Support Plan. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The period of performance is June 4, 2018 through June 3, 2019. The requirement contains no options.
