- The Technology Applications Contracting Office proposes to acquire six (6) with options for additional five (5) MH-47G Block II Renew aircraft for the U.S. Special Operations Command. The intended source is The Boeing Company, Stewart Avenue and Route 291, P.O. Box 16858, Philadelphia, PA 19142-0858, who is the original developer and prime manufacturer of all H-47 series aircraft, including the MH-47G aircraft. The Boeing Company is a large business and the North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 336411. The Government does not possess a full technical data package for manufacturing a new airframe. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capabilities statements or proposals received within the closing date set in this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
