- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE 7 May 2018 The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) Contracts Department at Stennis Space Center, MS 39522, hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 152(3) as implemented by FAR 8.405-6 to Teledyne CARIS. The contractor will be required to provide CARIS HIPS and SIPS Professional Software, CMW117-S, for (1EA) Keys #CK9608947 and #CK9608948. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government's requirement within 5 calendar days of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
