- Description
- This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The Government intends to award a fixed price purchase order to Life Technologies, Grand Island, NY 14072. Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR)-transduced cells are relatively new cells used to treat malignancies. The CPS manufactures CAR T cells to treat patients at NIH. The lentiviral vectors are used in cell processing to deliver the CAR gene to patient T cell because of their high efficiency of integration and stable delivery of target genes. However, insertional activation of oncogenes has been great concern in human gene therapy. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the target gene insertion site in T cell genomic DNA, next generation sequencing is great tools that test multiple insertion sites with one reaction. The Illumina® MiSeq system is a next-generation, benchtop sequencer with a simple workflow, enabling researchers to move from sample to data in as little as eight hours, Capable of generating up to 15 Gb per run, the MiSeq system is the only next-generation sequencer that integrates amplification, sequencing, and data analysis in a single instrument with a footprint of less than two square feet. Using Nextera® kits — currently the fastest sample prep workflow available — and Illumina’s proven TruSeq® chemistry, the MiSeq system supports industry-leading data accuracy with faster turnaround times than ever before, which is very important for manufacture with limited time for product release.
