Description

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE ONLY. PROJECT: REPLACE 3A FLOORING (541 18 507) THIS PROJECT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSB) ONLY. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, has a requirement for the removal and replacement of the existing luxury vinyl tile plank flooring, carpet flooring and associated wall base in the East Wing (3A), north corridor and some adjacent rooms. This project will take place at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center Campus, 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44106-1702. The SDVOSB contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, coordination and supervision to complete all work to include, but not limited to, the following: Site investigation, demolition, flooring preparation/installation and general construction. Remove approximately 3,600 square feet of the existing luxury vinyl tile plank flooring, carpet flooring and associated wall base. Remove existing integral sheet vinyl base and associated 8 wide portion of sheet flooring adjacent to the base for the entire room perimeter of select patient rooms. Prepare the existing flooring substrate to receive new sheet vinyl flooring with coved wall base and repair failing heat welded seams in select rooms. Install new transition strip material between new and existing flooring materials. A SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The Network Contracting Office 10, intends to publish the Official Solicitation (36C25018Q0605) with the next one to three days. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE ONLY.
