- This is the information located under the Sources Sought Description placed into an organized Word Document. Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. Any information provided by businesses to the Government is strictly voluntary. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested businesses responding to this Sources Sought Notice. Contact by potential offerors or their employees with government entities involved in this acquisition process, other than 502d Contracting Squadron personnel, regarding this notice is prohibited. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research only. The 59 th Medical Wing at JBSA, Texas has a requirement for Pelletized Dry Ice Delivery. The pelletized dry ice must be furnished by the contractor and be delivered in containers made to transport dry ice. The pelletized dry ice must be capable of keeping a transportation receptacle ≤ -18 °C. The pelletized dry ice must be delivered in accordance with the following schedule: Delivery Locations Quantity Frequency Wilford Hall Blood Donor Center 300 lbs Every Tuesday and Thursday Randolph AFB Blood Donor Center 85 lbs Every Monday Randolph AFB Public Health Lab 30 lbs Every Monday The pelletized dry ice must also be delivered on an "as needed" basis in times of contingency, emergency or during periods of increased shipment demands. The contractor shall comply with all federal, state, and local environmental laws, rules, and regulations. The 502d Contracting Squadron anticipates issuing an award for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The solicitation and subsequent amendments will be publicized through the Federal Business Opportunities at: https://www.fbo.gov/ and GSA Advantage at https://www.gsaadvantage.gov/. Contractors are solely responsible for monitoring the Internet to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. Paper copies and/or electronic mail of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will not be provided under any circumstances. Prospective offerors shall have a current System for Award Management (SAM) registration prior to award. Interested businesses should respond to the questions presented within this Sources Sought Notice in order to facilitate the Government's market research efforts. The Government will analyze all responses and determine the business strategy for this acquisition. Any questions relating to this this notice.
