Description

This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for quotes, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS code: 238220 and size standard is $15M. NOTE: Respondents claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry www.vetbiz.gov. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 9 is seeking a qualified vendor on behalf of the VA Medical Center, 1030 Jefferson Ave., Memphis, TN 38104. Project: Monitoring of the Water QUALITY Management Program (WMP) System      REQUIREMENTS The contractor shall collect water samples for testing from incoming water (AWG-21) and the two (2) Reprocessing sinks in SPS. Monthly On-Site Collection: Three (3) water samples. One (1) at the incoming water (AWG-21) and two (2) at the SPS Reprocessing sinks for testing the Total Organic Carbon Three (3) water samples. One (1) at the incoming water (AWG-21) and two (2) at the SPS Reprocessing sinks for testing the Total Bacteria (Heterotrophic Plate Count) Three (3) water samples. One (1) at the incoming water (AWG-21) and two (2) at the SPS Reprocessing sinks for testing the pH Semi-Annual On-Site Collection: Three (3) water samples. One (1) at the incoming water (AWG-21) and two (2) at the SPS Reprocessing sinks for testing the Endotoxins Three (3) water samples. One (1) at the incoming water (AWG-21) and two (2) at the SPS Reprocessing sinks for testing the Total Hardness Three (3) water samples. One (1) at the incoming water (AWG-21) and two (2) at the SPS Reprocessing sinks for testing the Chloride Three (3) water samples. One (1) at the incoming water (AWG-21) and two (2) at the SPS Reprocessing sinks for testing the Ionic Metals (Iron, Copper, and Manganese All samples shall be properly preserved and protocol records kept for final QA/QC. The contractor will ship all water samples overnight to a certified laboratory for analysis. Results will be provided within 10-14 days of sample receipt and shall be immediately uploaded into the existing web-based data management site and to the VA Memphis COR. Below is a table that designates the Test Characteristics, Type of Testing, Method, Sample Sites (SPS Reprocessing and AWG-21), sample collector/analyzed by designation and the number of tests per month and semi-annually (June and December) Anticipated period of performance: June 1, 2018 May 31, 2023 Information sought: Response to this announcement shall not exceed 10 pages and should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide a product and related services; (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, etc.,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; (3) Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format.
