Description

Statement of Work The Salt Lake City Veterans Affairs Medical Center (SLCVAMC) has a requirement for an EXPERT Hip Revision System. This is a revision hip set we will use whenever we have a primary hip malfunction and need replacement. This system is currently used in leading hospitals across the country. It is an effective system that is below the average price on the market with a solid stem and neck. It is only 2 pans compared to the average 4-6 pans of revision instrumentation. This will save us room on the shelves and make it easier for decontamination. The neck and stem have shorter options so it will fit a wider range of patients without compromising fit and placement, so we will have less return patients for a poor fit. The stem is a modified vaugner design so it is tapered to fit well inside of the femoral canal and seat well without having to adjust it multiple times. This is a Brand Name requirement; no equivalents will meet the needs of the facility as stated above. The requirement is for the following.
