- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of natural gas utility service for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution located in McDowell, West Virginia. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period from effective Date of Award through 120 months from effective Date of Award. The estimated average daily flow is 2,621 MCF and an annual volume of 31,452 MCF. The annual amount for natural gas utility service will fluctuate throughout the contract. The solicitation will be available on or about May 3, 2018 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about June 1, 2018. All potential quoters are advised that the solicitation will include the clause at FAR 52.212-4 for Commercial Items, paragraph (t) System for Award Management (SAM). This clause requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database. If your company is not registered in SAM, registration can be made at http://www.sam.gov/ Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This is being solicited as unrestricted and is not set-aside for small business.
