Description

The United States Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract to Ultra Electronics Precision Air & Land Systems Inc. (PALS), doing business as Ultra Electronics Precision Control Systems (Ultra), for the procurement of unconfigured Power Nodes (PNs) for the Explosive Hazard Pre-Detonation (EHP) Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Family of Vehicles (FOV). The Government estimates that it will order 6 PNs, with an estimated period of performance (PoP) of 14 months. The above estimates are NOT a representation to an offeror or contractor that the estimated quantity will actually be required or ordered. This action will not be competed, in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition 41 U.S.C. 253(c) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This is a pre-solicitation notice, otherwise known as a synopsis (summary). This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
