Description
Combined Synopsis and Solicitation Combined Synopsis/Solicitation IAW FAR Subpart 12.6 Audiometric Testing Booths for the U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W81K0418Q0004 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Publication Notice 20180418. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 334510, Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. This procurement is Full and Open Competition. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) has repetitive requirements for the purchase of audiometric booths meeting ANSI S3.1-1999 - American National Standard, Maximum Permissible Ambient Noise Levels for Audiometric Test Rooms to support accession processing of individuals into the United States Armed Services. The audiometric booths shall be delivered to and installed within various Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) located throughout the Continental United States (CONUS) and Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. A listing of the anticipated requirements are provided in Exhibit A- Forecasted Audiometric Booth Requirements and Important Design Details. The Government intends to award a maximum of three (3) Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to satisfy these repetitive needs. The awarded IDIQs will allow the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Health Readiness Contracting (HRCO) to place orders for the purchase of the required audiometric booths as requirements are identified.
