- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), PMA-271 (Airborne Strategic Command, Control and Communications) Program Office intends to compete a follow-on E-6B Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) contract. The effort will include, but is not limited to: contractor supply chain and inventory management support services, parts and equipment procurement, establishment and management of component repair, modification, and software updates; receive, issue, and track ready-to-issue components and parts, equipment and/or material in support of aircraft modification programs; maintenance and licensing for aircraft ground support equipment. The follow-on contract competition will be held as a Fair Opportunity Submittal Request (FOSR) under the Contracted Maintenance, Modifications, Aircrew and Related Services (CMMARS) Multiple Award Contract (MAC). This strategy involves the processing of a task order in accordance with FAR 16.505 under the pending CMMARS contract (Solicitation #: N6134018R1199).
