- To All Interested Parties: The United States Government, represented by the United States Agency for International Development Mission to Afghanistan (USAID/Afghanistan), intends to issue a full and open solicitation for the implementation of the subject activity. The purpose of this activity is to install pavement marking and traffic road signs along Section 2 (km 26+700 – km 64+700) of the road from Gardez to Khost. USAID anticipates the award of one Firm-Fixed Price contract for a period of 120 calendar days. The place of performance is primarily Afghanistan. The authorized geographic code is 935. The estimated project magnitude for this contract is between $250,000 and $350,000. The solicitation is anticipated to be posted on Federal Business Opportunities website ( https://www.fbo.gov ) in mid May 2018. Do not submit a proposal until the formal request is posted. This notice does not obligate USAID to release an RFP or make an award of any type.
