Description
answer questions from the site visit Dayton, OH. 45402 HVAC Replacement Dayton Aviation Heritage NHS 1. Are we aware units are too close to building and heater vent is blowing into unit? do we have option of moving units. Yes we are aware on both. The units sit in a pit we plan on filling with gravel or concrete to stop pooling of water, we will do that part. yes we have little leeway on shifting units down and away from building. 2. where are the zoning valves and how many are working? Three zones are hooked up with place of forth are we to make forth operable. I opened crawlspace to show where zone valves are located. currently the three zones are main hall office 1 and office 2. Forth zone not necessary as long as all vents are working properly. I know one valve is stuck partially shut we have limited air flow and I do not know the condition or location of all the valves. 3. Are line sets to attic exposed? As far as I know here is where they come into building here is where they run through the walls and as far as I know there are no access panels to line sets on first and second floor. 4. Are we aware the units are really over sized for this big of building? Yes we are this. Per the SOW "replace and install new properly sized components" 5. Second floor lines are tight could we just flush lines? If I'm not mistaken there's clause as-needed. Follow the project outline and tell us in your bid how you plan on accomplishing it. 6. What is sq ft of building? Per county records it is listed as 1932 sq ft of living space.
