NOTICE: This Sources Sought Synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals nor will any award be made as a result of this Sources Sought. The Sources Sought is to determine potential sources, for information, and for planning purposes only. Only non-classified information shall be provided in your response. The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District (POH) will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this Sources Sought. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to assist POH in determining if potential responsible sources exist for upcoming construction projects within the State of Hawaii. The Government will evaluate responses to determine the best acquisition strategy for upcoming construction projects for the next 5 years. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Veteran-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned Small Business concerns. The Government requests interested parties respond to this notice, if applicable, and identify your business status to the identified NAICS code. 2. Project Details Project Scope: POH anticipates construction projects ranging from $250,000 to $50,000,000 in the next 5 years throughout the State of Hawaii. Projects will be both Design-Bid-Build (DBB) and Design-Build (DB) primarily on Federal Government properties. Work includes both new and repair work, and vertical and horizontal construction. The following lists potential projects during Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 through FY 2024: Design-Bid-Build Repair of Various Facilities, Pohakuloa Training Area Design-Bid-Build Harbor Repairs on various islands, State of Hawaii Design-Bid-Build Renovation of multi-story buildings, Oahu Design-Bid-Build Repair of multi-story buildings, Oahu Design-Bid-Build HVAC Upgrade, Oahu Design-Bid-Build Install New Parking Lighting, Oahu Design-Bid-Build Construct New Parking Structure (3 stories or higher), Oahu Design-Build Reservoir Rehabilitation, Oahu Design-Build Shoreline Protection, Oahu Design-Build Storm Drainage upgrades, Oahu Design-Build Flood Control Projects, Various Islands 3. Capability Statements: Only interested PRIME CONTRACTORS should complete the attached sheet on its' capabilities. 4. RESPONSE INFORMATION: THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of potential qualified contractors before determining the method of acquisition. Please note it is required interested contractors be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Please see www.SAM.gov for additional information. In addition, this sources sought is not to be construed as a commitment by the government, nor will the government pay for any information solicited or delivered. Interested and qualified sources are highly encouraged to provide all information requested on the attached questionnaire.
