Description

SPECIAL NOTICE The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System proposes to negotiate a noncompetitive award with Camboy, LLC for the provision of purified water to the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC) located at 510 E. Stoner Ave., Shreveport, Louisiana, 71101. Camboy,LLC which represents the Culligan Water Company and currently provides visual monitoring of the tanks that supply demineralized water, presently provides cleaning and disinfection of water lines at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center as well. Camboy, LLC is the only known company in Shreveport, Louisiana and surrounding areas that can provide and maintain a continuous supply of high purity water to the medical center while providing continuous maintenance to existing tanks, therefore, affording a quality water system to the Overton Brooks VAMC. Camboy, LLC can meet these critical requirements while allowing for continuity of existing services presently provided to this medical facility by the company. This award is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations: Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by May 08, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., CST in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
