Description

This is a source(s) sought notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS codes 485510. The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a Contractor to provide DOT Certified and Licensed Bus Transportation for Veterans and Care Givers to provide transported at the National Veterans Tee Tournament Iowa City IA on September 9, 2018 to September 14, 2018. The National Veterans Tee Tournament is an annual tournament provides legally blind and eligible disabled Veterans an opportunity to develop new skills and strengthen their self-esteem through adaptive golf and bowling events. The contractor will provide about six to eight commercial charter buses and 1 specialty bus capable of loading and transporting disabled veterans and care givers in wheel chairs and with limited mobility. The events are being held in or within a 20-mile radius of Iowa City, IA. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
