Description

Atch 1 Product Description as of 27 April 2018 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement is solicited competitively and will be awarded using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The requirement is anticipated to be solicited as full and open competition and awarded as Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order. Option quantities will be incorporated and evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.217-7 and FAR 52.217-5, respectively. Solicitation H92240-18-Q-2031 issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The requirement is in support of Naval Special Warfare Group 2 for Combat Rubber raiding craft platforms. Delivery is anticipated for Virginia Beach, VA. See attachments for full RFQ and technical specifications. Amendment 0001: Attachment 1, Product Description, has been updated to incorporate the latest NAVSEA SS400-AD-MMO-010 instruction. Quotes are due at 5:00 p.m. on 1 May 2018.
