Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. THIS IS A TOTAL SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET-ASIDE. Description of Service: Air Balancing and Testing Services Iowa City VA Health Care System NAICS Code/Small Business Size Standard: 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors) Product Service Code: J045 (Maintenance/Rebuild/Repair of Equipment Plumbing, Heating, and Waste Disposal Equipment) SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall provide an annual requirement for the VA to adjust, balance and test air systems in the ORs, SPS and Cath Lab and the contractor will perform this on the following areas: OR1, OR2, OR3, OR4, OR5, OR6 and OR8. SPS: BC04 Anteroom, BW102 Decontamination, BW102 Preparation, BW101 Clean Storage, BW101-B, and BW107. Cath Lab, 2W179 and 2W180. All labor and certified calibrated instruments shall be furnished by the contractor. All work performed in the ORs and Cath Lab will have to be performed after hours or weekends. SPS can be performed during normal working hours. The technical point of contact will coordinate access to ORs and Cath Lab for services to be performed. Period of Performance: Year Period Begins Period Ends Base 6/15/2018 6/14/2019 1 6/15/2019 6/14/2020 2 6/15/2020 6/14/2021 3 6/15/2021 6/14/2022 4 6/15/2022 6/14/2023 Option years will be exercised at Government s discretion based on continued needs for services, Vendor performance, and availability of funds in a given fiscal year.
