- **This amendment extends the close date of this solicitation to May 10, 2018.** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and file attachments. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All contractors must be registered with the System Award Management (SAM) to be considered for award. The web site for registration is https://sam.gov. SP8000-18-Q-0005 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). DLA Strategic Materials intends to competitively award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. A Standard Form (SF) 1449 will be used as the award document for the contract. The combined synopsis and requirements documents are attached to this notice.
