36C25018Q0658 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FastPatch Patchymeter The Department of Veterans Affairs, The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio 44106 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1), Soliciting from a single-source and VAAR 819.7007, Sole source awards to service disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) concerns. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with The Collier Group, Inc., 5784 Bush Hill Drive, Alexandria, VA 22314, a SDVOSB, for FastPatch Patchymeters. An addition of FatstPatch Patchymeters are needed for the outpatient clinics for patient care. They are for taking eye measurements. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Friday, May 4, at 5PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.  A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
