- Milwaukee VA requires the purchase of a NAC Memrecam HX-7S (o support research work which requires testing of biological tissue in simulated military environments. To be useful, acquisition of data from these tests must occur at high rates. Specifically, a digital high speed video camera with the following salient characteristics is required: CMOS Five Megapixel Resolution 2560 x 1920-all active pixels. 2560 X 1920 @ 850fps. Full HD (1080p) Resolution at up to 2,000fps. Maximum fps: 200,000. Optical Format: 35.20mm. 11 micron pixel pitch. Electronic Shutter. High Light Sensitivity of 80,000 ISO. 330 - 880nm spectral response. Synchronize to other NAC Memrecam Camera. Adjustable Frame Rates. Straddle Mode: Inter-frame timing for PIV applications equals 286 nanoseconds. -EST Mode: High resolution timing and sync systems. Recording: Burst, Multi-trigger, Restart-trigger and Image -trigger. IRIG-B Capture & Sync with Phase Shift. Memory Segmentation. ORES-Dynamic Range Expansion Shutter. Bit Depth: 12/10/8-bit-customer selectable. Memory Backup-Internal memory battery backup for up to 1 Hour. Fast Download to Internal CFast HDD media at up to 500MB/sec. Fast Download to USB 3.0. Continuous Live Video Output- DP.(Display Port). Nilon F/G Lens Mount. Canon Mount option with remote Focus /Iris. Automatic Temperature Calibration Temperature compensated solid-state Automatic FPN shading correction and Black balance. Remote & Local Control-(no PC required). LED light kit. The camera must be compatible with Link software for seamless integration into the system currently being utilized at the Milwaukee VA. In addition to the salient characteristics above, the camera must be capable of collecting a 5 megapixel video ·at 850 frames per second (2560 x 1920 all active pixels) and have built in CFast memory. This equipment will be used in support of ongoing research programs and to enhance and extend research at the Milwaukee VA. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (large business, small business, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc.), relative to NAICS code 334516. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Based on responses to this synopsis, the Government may issue this RFQ as a Brand Name or Equal requirement in accordance with VAAR Clause 852.211-73 on eBuy or Fed Biz Ops. Estimated Performance Period: 90 Days ARO Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however; any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Friday, May 4, 2018, 4:00 PM, EST. No telephone responses will be accepted. This notice is to assist the Government in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available.
