- Description
- The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground - Belvoir Division, on behalf of Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) Operations Division, intends to award a sole source modification against Task Order W909MY-12-D-0008 0030 with Manufacturing Techniques, Inc (MTEQ) for personnel support. The Task Order provides the planning and management of resources and manpower, security support, agreement management and coordination, and event planning functions related to NVESD and NVESD Programs in order to support diverse rapid response laboratory management and field requirements. The period of performance of the additional support required will be approximately three (3) months. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with MTEQ, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302 -1(a)(2)(iii)(A) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, citing substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. This notice of intent is published in accordance with FAR 5.201 and is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement. The Government will consider all capability information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received within 15 days will be considered by the Government. Responses shall be no longer than ten (10) pages and shall be in a Microsoft Word compatible format. Responses shall be submitted via email to monique.n.sanpietro.civ@mail.mil within 15 calendar days of the date of this notice.
