Description
This is a PRESOLICIATION notice. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contract Office (NCO) 22 intends to issue a solicitation for two Metal Containers to be delivered to (SAVAHCS) Southern Arizona Veteran Affairs Health Care System. Salient Characteristics include: Roll-out stainless steel drawers to allow easy access to blood products The capacity to store at least 100 units of refrigerated blood products. A self-closing two glass door unit, one side to store crossmatched blood products and the other side to store unassigned inventory. The capability to maintain a temperature range of 1 °C-6 °C with a system uniformity of ±1 °C. Forced air circulation that maintains uniformity of ±1 șC and provides quick recovery after door openings Automatic electronic alarm check capability Meet AABB, ARC, and FDA standards for blood storage at 4 °C. A 7 day, 24 hour inkless temperature chart recorder. 45 cubic foot capacity Programmable high and low temperature alarms with visual and audible indicators. The temperature alarms must activate immediately upon meeting the upper and lower set points. These alarms must be mutable without shutting off the alarm system. Open door alarm that comes standard with no extra charge on the unit. An access port for external hospital temperature monitoring systems No required defrost cycling. 115V 60Hz with Hospital-Grade Plug. Minimum warranty of 5 years compressor, 2 years parts, and I year labor. Operator and service manuals, including detailed instructions for maintenance/cleaning/decontamination procedures. Instructions on how to program the alarm settings and chart recorder must be provided. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 332439 with a small business size standard of 500 or less employees. This solicitation will be posted 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order. Only one award will from this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Solicitation Package 36C25818Q0271 shall be posted on Fedbizopps on or about May 4, 2018.    No solicitation packages will be mailed.    Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above. All offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Additionally, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses or Veteran Owned Businesses who respond to a solicitation must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov.
