Sources Sought Notice 501st Combat Support Wing/Regional Contracting Office SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE A. This notice is issued as a Sources Sought notice for information purposes only. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote/Proposal/Bid or complete package outlining the technical competencies/qualifications of the prospective contractor, nor does it represent any commitment by the Government. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Vendors will not receive a formal notification or feedback on any information submitted nor will they be reimbursed for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. A solicitation does not presently exist. All future proposed submissions or solicitation requirements will be solicited through the Government Point of Entry (GPE) and will be evaluated independent of any information submitted in response to this sources sought notice. B. The 501 Combat Support Wing/Regional Contracting Office (501 CSW/RCO) is conducting market research in support of the 423rd Civil Engineering Squadron (423 CES), Furnishing Management Office (FMO), Royal Air Force Alconbury, United Kingdom to determine the existence of potential sources for developing, manufacturing, or providing United States style electric range that are approved for use within Europe (CE markings). The 423 CES is looking for a Whirlpool 5.3 Cu. Ft. freestanding electric range, model #WFE515S0ET or an item equally comparable (please see below of additional salient characteristics). Please provide answers to the questions below in your response. Additional Salient Characteristics: Size: 5.3 Cu. Ft. Width: Max 29.875" Height: Max 48" Depth: 30" Voltage: 220 - 240 volts, 50 Hz Burners: 4 total, 2 large & 2 small Color: White Approval: EU/CE markings Misc.: Ceramic top, Self-Cleaning, Electric Requested Information 1) What is the name, address, CAGE code, and DUNS number of your business? 2) Provide a point of contact (POC) to include name, telephone number, and email address. 3) Based on the FAR 2.101 definition of a commercial item, would you consider the product you would provide a commercial item? 4) Identify any projects completed in the past three years for the same or similar items to help determine your firm's capability in meeting the requirement for the items listed. Include any government contracts (federal, state, or local) that you have been awarded for this type of requirement. Also, include the contract number and a government point of contact. 5) Is this product available on a GSA schedule? If so, please provide the GSA schedule number and part number. 6) Are you the manufacturer or distributor of the product you are proposing? If you are not the manufacturer, who is? C. The Government is conducting market research primarily in order to determine if there are firms that possess the capability to execute the requirements for this sources sought. Therefore, we further invite all business concerns to provide a capability statement in response to this notice. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to any award of any federal government contract. Contractors are encouraged to obtain further information on SAM registration at the following website, https: www.sam.gov. D. All responses shall be received by 11 May 2018 at 10:00 AM ET. Responses shall be no more than 15 pages (single spaced, front and back, no smaller than Times New Roman font size 11) and include a specification sheet for proposed items. If submissions exceed the page count noted, the Government will only review the first 15 pages and disregard the remainder of the submission. Supporting materials such as brochures and product catalogs are welcome. Any questions concerning this notice shall be submitted in writing via email to TSgt Michael H.
