- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Kranze Technology Solutions, Inc. for build functional Digital Interoperability Suite (DIS) systems in three (3) iterations of six (10) B-Kit assemblies (total of thirty (30)), and ten (10) A-Kit Aircraft modifications (total of thirty (30)) in accordance with (IAW) the Government approved technical documentation completed. The RORO CS also requires Air Crew Digital Interoperability (D.I) Kits. The Air Crew D.I kits provide the software applications to send and receive the non-voice information to/from all personnel. The Air Crew D.I Kits have to be integrated and updated to be compatible with both "A" and "B" kits. This requirement is for a total quantity of thirty (30) "B" kits, thirty (30) "A" kits and twenty three (23) Air Crew D.I Kits. Each iteration shall include but not limited to aircraft modification for A-Kit, assembly of B-Kit, installation, check and test of entire DIS to specification indicated in the technical documents and/or additional B-Kits as need is determined by the Government. The contractor shall upgrade services on emerging Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (C4I) suite of equipment known as the Roll On/Roll Off Communication Suite (RORO CS). The RORO CS delivers full gateway functionality with sub-systems known as "B-Kits" to send and receive real-time SECRET and below mission critical (non-voice) information (e.g. imagery, Full Motion Video (FMV), intelligence updates, isolated personnel report files, and position location information to Higher Headquarters (HHQ). The sub-systems known as the "A-Kits" are the modification, installation, and associated ancillary components required to mount "B-Kits" into MV-22 aircraft. NAWCADLKE intends to award this contract under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
