Description
The purpose of this amendment is to address the following questions: Question 5: 3.2.1.2 The cabinets shall have a front wall with viewing window, side walls, rear wall, and a door on each side wall. The doors on each side wall shall be minimum 42''W x 30''H. Is 38.5" wide door opening acceptable? Answer to Question 5: The door must be 42'' wide because of a specific part that needs to be processed in the booths. The material of construction for this part determines if it is Aluminum Oxide blasted or Glass Bead, and since both are potential processes for the part, all 4 Medium booths need this width. Question 6: 3.2.2.7 Side doors shall have a minimum width of 42". Is 38.5" wide door opening acceptable? Answer to Question 6: The door must be 42'' wide because of a specific part that needs to be processed in the booths. The material of construction for this part determines if it is Aluminum Oxide blasted or Glass Bead, and since both are potential processes for the part, all 4 Medium booths need this width. Question 7: 3.2.2.8 Each cabinet shall have a turntable with a diameter of 40'' that is rated for a minimum of 500 lb. on casters with sealed bearings. Is 36" diameter acceptable? Answer to Question 7: 36'' would be the absolute minimum to ensure part stability, but would be acceptable if rated for 500 lbs. Ideally 38'' or 40'' rated at 500lbs minimum.
