- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The work consists of providing all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to perform the project entitled Rehabilitate Easton Building, First and Second Floors, National Park Service, Northeast Region Office, 15 State Street, Boston, Massachusetts. The major elements of work include: removal of existing stairs from second floor entrance lobby and structural infill of the opening between the first and second floors; renovation of the main second floor entrance lobby with new stair and landing, an inclined stair lift, new separation partitions with doors and glazed openings; renovation of second floor service spaces, including new restrooms, pantry and storage room; renovation of first floor service entrance and ramp, including reconfiguration of the ramp to meet accessibility code and a new glazed storefront enclosure. This resultant award will be a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. The period of performance for this effort shall be approximately 184 days from the Notice to Proceed. This is currently being set-aside for Small-Business concerns. The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids, using NAICS Code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction ($36.5M). Site visit information will be in the posted solicitation. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about June 19, 2018 and will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (http://www.fbo.gov). This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. In order to be awarded a contract a bidder must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications.
