Description

XTES Image ESD Imager Drawing for RFI SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. SLAC is looking for sources for a Direct Imager Assembly. The Direct Imager Assembly consists of a water cooled, single axis actuator that can insert one of the three different optical elements (SLAC provided) into and out of the LCLSII X-ray beam. The scope of work is the production of seven (7) Direct Imager Assemblies per SA-375-401-02 including manufacturing, UHV cleaning and assembly of all lower level components, then leak test, RGA test and deliver to SLAC. This assembly wil be used in a 1E-9 Torr environment. SLAC will then mount the optical elements inside the chamber and install a camera system prior to beam line installation.
