- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov. It is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitation to the internet. This is a synopsis for noncommercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13 as supplemented with additional information listed in this notice. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular. This is being announced as a sole source requirement under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 336611, Size Standard 1,250 employees as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office for Small Business Program. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, RI (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order to repair three (3) 10E-01 ECVs for OA-9070 Hydraulic Control Units to Product Planning Inc. Product Planning Inc. is the only known source for these repair services because they are the original manufacturer and only vendor capable of servicing these components. Required delivery: 31 July 2018 or sooner, FOB Destination, Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices. The anticipated posting date of solicitation N66604-18-Q-1890 is on or about 10 May 2018. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the Request For Quote. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FBO.gov website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the website and for monitoring the site for amendmants.
