Combined synopsis / solicitation Single Source Justification. It is expected that there is only one source for this requirement. Used to machine Aircraft, Depot and Support equipment parts and tools. Utilizing CAM (Computer Assisted Manufacturing) software to draft and output data to machine parts. Haas VF5 CNC (Computer Numberic Controlled) Mill. Super-Speed Vertical Machining Center; 50" x 26" x 25" (1270 x 660 x 635 mm) - Table: 52" L x 23" W x 1750 lb max load - 40 taper spindle - 30 hp (22.4 kW) vector drive, 12,000 rpm, 90 ft-lb @2000 rpm, inline direct-drive - Electronic Thermal Compensation to compensate for the expansion and contraction of each linear axis. -24+1 station Side Mount tool changer with 1.6s tool-to-tool change (avg.) - 1200 ipm (30.5m/min) rapis - 95 gallon (360 liter) flood coolant system - Max Machine Footprint: 142" L x 98" W x 121" H - Controller Features: - 15" color LCD monitor, graphic dry run, self-diagnostics, USB port, memory lock keyswitch, multi-function jog handle, rigid tapping, advanced pocket milling, tool life management; background editing. 1 GB program memory.
