Page 2 of 2 This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, or service disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NAICS 624229, Other Community Housing Services (size standard of $15 Million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the Fedbizopps website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement, in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. The Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) is seeking a Contractor to assist with the provision of emergency residential placement and supportive services through the Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) program Contracted Emergency Residential Services (CERS) model. The VAGLAHS intends to contract for up to 150 beds and associated services aimed to rapidly stabilize Veterans medical, mental health, substance abuse and other psychosocial problems to assist with placing Veterans into permanent housing within 180 days. VA intends to engage a contractor to provide rapid placement of Veterans in a safe, supportive, residential setting while addressing Veterans complex needs through on-site supportive case management services. The VAGLAHS intends to contract for the following homeless Veteran populations: Up to 25 Female beds Up to 30 Family Beds Up to 30 Beds for Veterans over the age of 55 Up to 5 Beds for Veterans who identify as Transgender and prefer to be co-located with other Veterans who identify as Transgender Up to 60 Male Beds Specialized populations that will be considered as a priority include Post 9/11 Veterans with acute elevated suicide risk factors. These services will be provided on a specific site location on the West Los Angeles VA campus. Please note this is not to be considered an emergency shelter placement. If you are interested, and are capable of providing the required services, please provide a capabilities statement as well as the requested information as indicated below. The intended contract period will be for a base year and one, one-year option period, which is to begin on or about July 1, 2018. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, point of contact, size of business pursuant to the following questions: (1) Is your business small (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emerging business, or small disadvantaged business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act? (4) Is your firm a certified Hubzone firm? (5) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small or veteran owned small business?
