Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Dunbar Mechanical Contractor LLC, 4165 Brunswick Rd, Memphis, TN 38133, for new equipment site preparation in the Radiology Department at the Nashville Campus, VA Medical Center. This is being sole sourced due to the pressing need of this requirement. This contract action is for services for which the VA intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-5 (Authorized by Statute) and 38 U.S.C. 8127(c) which is implemented by VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7007. A determination that only one Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concern is available to provide this requirement is not required (see VAAR 819.7007(b)). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
