- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Five (5) Requirements Type contract with a Basic year and Four-one year ordering periods with Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for the Technical Refresh of the Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) Sensor Assembly in support of the B-52 aircraft. The following are the BEQ's and NSN's associated with each ordering period. The requirement is for input NSN: 1280-01-398-3958, part number 1395AA7001 and output NSN: 1280-01-570-1501, Part Number 8426367-1: Basic Year BEQ INPUT P/N NOUN NSN 20 1280-01-398-3958 1395AA7001 FLIR OUTPUT NSN 1280-01-570-1501 8426367-1 FLIR Ordering Periods One through Ordering Period Four BEQ INPUT P/N NOUN NSN 5 1280-01-398-3958 1395AA7001 FLIR OUTPUT NSN 1280-01-570-1501 8426367-1 FLIR The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source BAE Systems Information and Electronic System Integration, (CAGE Code: 72314). However, Interested Party or Person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the 30 days after issuance of solicitation, or 45 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serous contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
