Description
Sources Sought Announcement Construct new Maintenance Facility at Minuteman Missile National Historic Site, Philip, SD The purpose of this announcement is to identify interested contractors capable of constructing a new 2,900 square foot maintenance building with electrical utility connection and sewer tie in. No water utility connection will be provided with this contract. A permanent drive is not part of this contract. The National Park Service seeks a business concern under the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code with the requisite experience to provide all necessary skills, supervision, labor, supplies, tools, equipment, materials, and other items necessary to complete this project as described above. NAICS code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, having a small business size standard of $36.5 million, applies to this acquisition. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The period of performance is 120 days. This is not a solicitation, and therefore, the Government is not accepting any formal offers resulting for this Sources Sought notification. Rather, this posting constitutes a market survey/sources sought announcement by which the Government affords interested business concerns the opportunity to furnish expressions of interest and/or written capabilities statements. The Government does not guarantee a receipt for any responses received. No phone calls or additional inquires please. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on FedConnect (www.FedConnect.net) and Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov). Any cost associated with providing a response to this sources sought, shall be the responsibility of the firm. The Contracting Officer shall use the information received to aid in determining an acquisition strategy. All interested firms must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey/sources sought announcement.
