- Description
- The US Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) has a requirement for an Carbide Cut off Saw for Watervliet Arsenal (WVA). The saw shall be a horizontal, carbide tipped circular cut-off saw. It shall come complete with material handling devices for workpiece loading and unloading and will be used for cut-off operations on muzzle and breech end of rotary forged cannon tubes. Tubes will be up to 16" in diameter, 40' long, and weighing up to 15,000 lbs. The solicitation will be issued on a Full and Open Competitive basis and will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. Contractors should not contact the Buyer seeking the solicitation, as it will not be available until approximately 15 days after issuance of this notice. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the information contained in this posting or information received as a result of this posting. The contents of any future formal Request for Proposal (RFP) takes precedence over anything contained herein. Caution: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the website in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection of same.
