Att 4 - Attachments A-F Maps 1-4 Att 3 - Task Order 1 Asbestos Inspections SOW Att 2 - Exhibit 1 Forest Wide County Map Att 1 - SOW Asbestos Solicitation Standard Form 1449 Solicitation White River National Forest Wide Asbestos Inspection As outlined within the FedBizOpps Solicitation: 1282D718R0004, the White River National Forest is issuing a Single Source Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) to support Forest Wide Asbestos Inspection within 7 Counties of Western Colorado. This project is being advertised as a total small business set-aside and as such it is open to all qualified small businesses. The solicitation for this project is only available through the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. Solicitation Schedule; Solicitation Posted: 04/18/2018 Pre-Bid Date: None Questions Due: 05/01/2018 Solicitation Close Date: 05/08/2018 1700 Mountain Standard Time Scope of Work T h e pu rpo s e o f t h i s pro j e c t is to c o n d u ct an as b estos i n v e n t o ry, prepare project design, and conduct final clearance including Phase-Contrast Microscopy (PCM) air monitoring services, and on Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) throughout the White River National Forest. The asbestos related work is for purposes of demolition, removal, and cleanup activities as part of final restoration. The State of Colorado requires a Certified Asbestos Building Inspector (CABI) to perform this type of inspection, a Project Designer to determine how much asbestos is required for abatement, and a Certified Air Monitoring Specialist when air monitoring is required for final clearance. Project Location: The White River National Forest is the most visited National Forest in the nation encompassing 2.3 million acres and is managed by the following ranger districts located in seven (7) counties: * Dillon Ranger District – Summit County * Aspen/Sopris Ranger District – Pitkin County (Aspen), and a small portion of Gunnison County (Marble) and Eagle Counties (El Jebel/Basalt) * Eagle/Holy Cross Ranger District - Eagle County * Rifle Ranger District – Garfield County and a small portion of Mesa County * Blanco Ranger District – Rio Blanco County The AML project sites are located in remote areas (including wilderness) in the high country (elevation greater than 6,000 feet above sea level) that require high clearance vehicles to the staging area. From staging areas, hiking is required to reach most locations. There are no utilities (water, electricity, etc.) available at these locations. Wilderness sites may require livestock (horses/mules) to reach project site. Period of Performance: The period of performance will be based on accessibility to the project location. Generally higher elevation project sites are only accessible from May to October.
