- Engineering Services: FA8509-18-R-0012 This requirement will be a sole source acquisition to Boeing (CAGE: 022T1) to sustain C-130 Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS)/Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) software, databases and supporting tools until the United State Air Force (USAF) AC-130U are retired in approximately the year 2021. The contractor will provide only the necessary service required to sustain the current C-130 IMIS/IETM operational and current in support of only C-130H common data and unique AC-130U IETMs. The Government Central Technical Order Control Unit (CTOCU) located at Robins AFB will be responsible for sustaining the current data. The Contractor will provide an author to support data sustainment. The contractor provided Help Desk support also at Robins AFB will continue to provide expertise and necessary assistance to CTOCU, Equipment Specialists (ESs), engineers, TCTO development contractors and IMIS/IETM users. Additionally, the Help Desk function will also serve as the primary C-130 IMIS/IETM System Administrator here at Robins AFB to sustain IMIS operational on the AF Network and support the Program Manager in obtaining and maintaining the necessary certification and accreditation for operating on the AF Network. Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Reimbursable No Fee, and Firm Fixed Price are the anticipated pricing arrangements. Period of Performance: Basic is 12 months with (2) two 12 month annual options. (Total three year contract period if all options are exercised) Place of Performance: These services will be performed at the contractor or subcontractor's facility, Government facility, or other locations as required. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
